Course Overview

Strategic planning is the process of defining an organization's strategy or direction and making decisions on allocating resources to pursue this strategy. It involves analyzing the organization's current state, defining its desired future state, and developing a roadmap to get there. Creating a Diversity & Inclusion Plan is a critical initial step in designing, developing and implementing a high impact diversity education initiative that promises to move an organization from where it presently is to a more inclusive. This requires the ability to create a strategic plan.

Individuals and organizations can improve their performance and achieve long-term success by developing a strategic mindset and learning relevant tools and techniques. A well-developed plan is integral to organizational change. Following the guidelines in this course will increase the likelihood of success.
